NODE UEHARA

NODE Uehara, the first of Odakyu Railway's urban planning project, was born in Yoyogi Uehara where people with a high awareness of lifestyle gather and reside.  The four-story building includes a cafe, grocery, restaurant and rental housing and offices.  

The Odakyu Railway runs its trains from Shinjuku to Hakone and Enoshima, making its way from central urban Tokyo to the relaxing resort areas of Japan.  The project was proposed to create value on various points along the Odakyu train route, thus improving the quality of everyday life for the residents and commuters. 

新宿から箱根・江の島へ、日本を代表する大都市からリゾート地へとつながる小田急線。その沿線地域の多様な魅力を、コンパクトに凝縮した場へと変換した「点」として各地域に配置していくことで、沿線全体の「面」としての生活の質の豊かさを向上させていくことを標榜したプロジェクトが2012年ごろからスタートしました。

その第１弾であるNODE Ueharaは、ライフスタイルへの意識の高い人々が集まる代々木上原に、食をテーマに、ショップ・カフェ・レストランと賃貸住宅の複合体として生まれました。
